This wedding was just stunning -- the weather was beautiful so I stole Douglas and Kara away to take some pictures around Preston Hollow, and I'm slightly obsessed with the portraits...I think we have Mark Cuban's house to thank for lots of them : )  Stems of Dallas did a phenomenal job (as usual) with the flowers and in making Kara's spring wedding an absolutely gorgeous reality. A big thanks to the awesome bridal party as well. Can we all be friends? OK. It's a plan.

Douglas and Kara: you two are special to me. You've been thoughtful and kind, always looking to serve others before yourself. Now after meeting your friends and your families, I understand why. Thank you for inviting me into your lives during this priceless time. I hope these images express the depth of your love for each other and for the people you love. It was such an honor. Luke and Ashley's wedding was the perfect way to kick off the summer wedding season! They started dating six years ago in high school and yesterday was the day that they had been waiting for and counting the days until. Spring wedding season is just getting better and better.  Tyler and Jenni's handmade wedding was designed by Jenni with DIY touches all over the ceremony and reception at Hickory Street Annex.  The whole day was relaxed with a lot of help from friends and family -- Jenni's friends arranged the flowers on the tables, one painted their adorable sign-in painting, and one even offered a get-away vehicle for the newlyweds (scroll to the bottom...) I was absolutely honored to photograph this wedding. I've gotten to know Sarah over the past few months and I've been so impressed with her style, her love for her family and her incredible organization. She was an absolute joy to work with and she's got herself a pretty great husband too now. : )  I've got to send a little shout out to my friend, Junior Villanueva, at Garden Gate Floral Design for introducing me to Sarah and Colin. Two more of our dear friends are getting married! Nick and Blair are great friends of ours and I've been thrilled to shoot their engagement pictures for... a long time now (to say the least).
