This wedding was just stunning -- the weather was beautiful so I stole Douglas and Kara away to take some pictures around Preston Hollow, and I'm slightly obsessed with the portraits...I think we have Mark Cuban's house to thank for lots of them : )  Stems of Dallas did a phenomenal job (as usual) with the flowers and in making Kara's spring wedding an absolutely gorgeous reality. A big thanks to the awesome bridal party as well. Can we all be friends? OK. It's a plan.

Douglas and Kara: you two are special to me. You've been thoughtful and kind, always looking to serve others before yourself. Now after meeting your friends and your families, I understand why. Thank you for inviting me into your lives during this priceless time. I hope these images express the depth of your love for each other and for the people you love. It was such an honor. Oh goodness. These pictures make my heart so happy. Ryan is one of my oldest and dearest friends. Like a brother, sometimes I claim him and sometimes I pretend I don't know him.... I guess I'll claim him today because he is about to marry a gorgeous, precious, Christ-loving woman in just a few weeks and I honestly couldn't be happier for him. Ryan has made me laugh for years, beginning in our awkward middle school years and continuing throughout high school (when we often got ourselves and friends into trouble).  Some of my sweetest memories include Ryan calling my mom "Moira" and coming over for chicken pot pie nights entirely too much. I was so thrilled to take these lovely images of such dear friends. I can only imagine where these two will go. Love y'all. J

                                           

Another couple that I just love... Luke and Lindsey: you two couldn't be more adorable together and more perfect for each other.

Tanner and Shannon are engaged!!  I've known Shannon since I was an awkward teenager at our church in North Richland Hills and I am so honored that she chose me to document this incredible special time in her life. Spending the afternoon with these two was just hanging out with two old friends and I CAN'T WAIT for December to watch them take their vows. It will be here before we know it!  - J

A few sweet images of my precious friend, Traci and her now fiance, Phillip. It was the perfect evening to walk around Highland Park with an old friend. Spring is here and love is in the air. Oh, happy day!
