((Brides, you'll recognize McKenzie if you've come over during the past year or so -- McKenzie has been my office manager/assistant for the past year and now she is engaged to Stephen, a catch of a guy)).

She has been a source of wisdom and encouragement to me and this business in countless ways. Many of the things I do in the office are because of Godly advice from and brainstorming sessions with McKenzie. I have so much to thank her for and shooting her engagement session and September wedding are practical ways I get to bless her in return.  I strive to do everything in Jess Barfield Photography above reproach and in ways to bless others and she has been a huge help in making that happen.  Obviously, I'm in love with this session (!)

There is a mutual respect, grace and sweet understanding between Stephen and McKenzie. They are a joy to photograph and even more fun to be friends with.

 

I am SO pumped to be shooting Tyler and Anna's hill country wedding next January!  They are a fun-loving, duck-hunting, quick-witted couple who I am seriously pumped to call my friends. We had a blast out at White Rock, meandering around some of my favorite fields and docks on the lake. Enjoy a few of my initial favorites! J

 

I mean, this is just lovely. Isn't it? I was a little bitter about winter ending so early, but then I saw this blooming tree down the street and I got over it.

Introducing the newly engaged Ty and Fraley - they are a blast to be with and they even offered to share their photo shoot champagne with me. That's just the sweetest thing you could do for this gal : ) I'm a huge fan of the future Robinsons, can't you tell?  Enjoy just a few of my favorites from our lovely shoot! J
