How to Book
So, you’re getting married and you need a photographer (or you’re scoping out photographers for your 2018 wedding…) – what do you do next?
1.) Shoot me an email. I’d love to hear more about your wedding, your story, your style. I want to get to know you! I’ll check my schedule and if I’m available we will…
2.) Grab some coffee. This is one of my favorite parts of my job. I’d love to to take you out for some coffee/ice cream/whatever floats your boat and also includes sugar. We will talk about your wedding, the collections available and any questions you have.
3.) Make a contract. I’ll send you a contract that specifies all the details of your wedding, the payment schedule and other important information. You sign it to promise to fulfill the payment obligations. I sign it to accept to shoot the wedding and fulfill the contract.
4.) Submit a deposit. A 20 percent nonrefundable deposit is required to book/hold a date. If we grabbed coffee, I promise that I really enjoyed meeting you but that doesn’t mean your date is booked. The deposit along with the signed contract by you and me is required in order for your date to be held.
5.) You’re booked! Once I’ve received the signed contract and the deposit, we will start discussing your engagement and/or bridal sessions and planning your wedding day photography. This is where the fun begins…
I hope this has cleared up any questions you may have. I sincerely look forward to hearing from you!
