These two need no introduction... Courtney's boots grace the top of my blog every day (see above... ha!). They are our dear friends, neighbors and now buddies with us as we figure out how to raise baby boys together.  To say that Courtney has been a life-saver over the last 9 months would be the understatement of the year... she is one of the dearest blessings and I count it a privilege to know and love this family. Jack: WE CAN'T WAIT TO MEET YOU!!

The incredible Dallas wedding and party invitation designer (and my neighbor), Libby Smith of Frontier Paper Company, (and her awesome husband, Ben) agreed to do a little modeling for me this week and OH am I glad she agreed.  I am officially in love with these images.   I have been itching in my office to get out and enjoy this beautiful weather and this spectacular light ... this was exactly what we all needed. Of course, Libby designed the entire shoot to perfection as usual. Jordan and I have been talking about this shoot for a LONG time and I am so excited we finally got to have these taken!  Jordan and Taylor were so kind to have me drive down to Waco this morning for a fun portrait shoot-- they were married about three years ago and need some new pictures around their adorable house.  With one Common Grounds cowboy before and one after, along with a quick trip to Olive Branch and Spice... it was a good day to say the least.  Unfortunately, I can't take any credit for the balloons - that was all Jordan.  Jordan is a graphic designer for Scribbles, a note and gift store in Waco and she created lots of the paper details at my wedding.  Her creative talent is superb and I am so thankful to have met her six years ago (while I was most likely wearing a gorilla outfit).  Enjoy : )   -- JGB
