Prepare to smile throughout this entire post.  You just can't NOT smile while looking at these precious pictures of such a fun, sweet couple. Gabe was Blake's little in KOT at Baylor but now he's all grown up and is getting married to one of the sweetest girls I know (and a Chi O!). She's a catch. Gabe, you did good awesome.  I'd like to think that I helped this relationship come about but all I did was bake for Gabe and contribute to their lack of studying Spanish. So, I guess I really didn't do anything at all. : ) I'm humbled that so many of our wonderful friends trust me to photograph such sweet times in their lives.  Thanks for sharing a beautiful spring evening with me in McKinney.  I owe you two a cherry cobbler.  - J (PS: I edited this while listening to Glee's version of "Landslide", so you should probably turn that on while looking through these).

This post has been a long time in the making... to say the least. 2009:  I met Sarah and Matt while shooting Matt's brother's wedding in the summer of 2009. They were "just friends." I didn't believe that for a second. They were too cute to just be friends. 2010:  While shooting Katie and Patrick's wedding in the summer of 2010, I ran into Sarah and Matt again and now they were dating. I was SO EXCITED because I totally called it. 2011:  Sarah and Matt are engaged! I'm shooting their beautiful wedding in August. I couldn't be more excited.  Why, you ask? Look at these pictures are you'll see why. They. are. so fun. J  

Spring wedding season is finally HERE! Hallelujah! Brett and Kristen's wedding was the perfect way to kick off this beautiful spring weather in Dallas. Kristen is a dear friend of mine from Baylor and I still have pictures of the two of us from 2005 (I will resist from putting them on the blog...)  She is one of the kindest, sweetest brides I have ever had the privilege of working with and I loved how laid back she was on Saturday. The dresses, the flowers, the weather, the venues --- everything was perfect. The incredible Dallas wedding and party invitation designer (and my neighbor), Libby Smith of Frontier Paper Company, (and her awesome husband, Ben) agreed to do a little modeling for me this week and OH am I glad she agreed.  I am officially in love with these images.   I have been itching in my office to get out and enjoy this beautiful weather and this spectacular light ... this was exactly what we all needed. Of course, Libby designed the entire shoot to perfection as usual.
